INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) revealed, Toyota car engines, especially the latest output, tailored to the consumption of high octane fuel. Therefore TAM recommends the use of quality fuel such as Pertalite or Pertamax.

"Due to cleaner emissions and better fuel efficiency, one of them is obtained through high-compression engine technology, which requires high octane fuel requirements," said Public Relation Manager TAM Rouli Sijabat in Jakarta, Wednesday (21). / 2/2018).

According to him, the use of high-quality fuel will have a good impact on vehicle performance. Fuel is more efficient, maximum power, and engine cleaner in the long run.

Meanwhile, if forced to use Premium, then the power is not maximal, because the burning point is slightly different and the performance of the sensor, eg knock sensor will tickling.

Previously, related to the automotive industry's recommendation, General Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo) Yohannes Nangoi said, the recommendation makes the consumption of Premium in the market declined.
