INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - President Director of PT Tata Motor Distribution Indonesia (TMDI) Biswadev Sengupta said that the commercial car market will grow in line with the more conducive domestic economy.
Based on data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), sales of commercial cars in January last year to January this year recorded an increase of 26 percent.
"If the economy grows, business grows, industry and infrastructure grows, then commercial car sales will surely grow. Our national potential increase is estimated at 25 percent. But we are optimistic that Tata Motor's sales in all lines should be above it, maybe up to 50 percent, because the needs of commercial cars will be in line with the development of some sectors, "said Biswadev Sengupta, Friday (24/3/2018).
For this reason the last few years Tata Motors increasingly aggressively work on the commercial car market, mainly in East Java which became the main market for Tata Motors. One of the efforts that has been done is by cooperating with PT Aditi Aliansi Motor (AAM) who has experienced in the automotive world since 1952.
Director of Tata PT Aditi Aliance Motor (AAM), Fredy Teguh Prasetyo said, with the growth of East Java market, it continues to commit to provide the best support for Tata Motors customers in Surabaya and the surrounding area by opening partnership dealers in Sidoarjo, East Java.
"We are very confident that pickup trucks, buses and buses from Tata Motors will be a solution to the mobility needs of the community, considering that businessmen are in dire need of a strong and fuel-efficient commercial vehicle with a great puma service," he said.
According to Ferdy, the amount of market in East Java other than the right product, Tata Motors also provide guarantee services up to 100 thousand km or for 3 years for the type of vehicle Tractor Head and Heavy Dump Truk. Beside, set up after sales service and spare parts availability for 24 hours throughout East Java
