INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) noted foreign tourist arrivals to Indonesia during the month of June this year fell by 1.86 percent from the previous month to 1.13 million visits.
"The decline is due to seasonal factors, the majority of which remain through the 19 main gates," BPS Chief Suhariyanto said during a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday (1/8/2017)
During that period, according to BPS, there were 910.9 thousand regular tourist arrivals and 21.4 thousand foreign tourists.
Although down compared to the previous month, Suhariyanto said, foreign tourist arrivals during June 2017 rose 31.61 percent compared with the same month last year.
"At that time the number of foreign tourists as many as 857.65 thousand visits," he told the media crew.
