GIICOMVEC Exhibition 2018 Encourages the Growth of Indonesia's Commercial Vehicle Industry

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industry (GAIKINDO) Yohanes Nangoi said, to build and develop the Indonesian automotive industry, especially the commercial vehicle industry, GAIKINDO can not walk alone.
Therefore GAIKINDO expressed appreciation to the government through the Ministry of Industry for its full support of GAIKINDO.
One of GAIKINDO's efforts to encourage the growth of Indonesia's commercial vehicle industry is by 2016 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) which recorded a significant growth of 45% over the previous year.
"Not only national recording, the commercial vehicle industry also recorded an increase in export value," Nangoi said at the opening of GIICOMVEC 2018 in Jakarta on Thursday (1/3/2018).
"We designed GIICOMVEC specifically as a business-to-business exhibition, so it is expected that not only can we provide the latest information on the national automotive industry, especially the commercial vehicle industry and its supporting industries, but also open new business opportunities between APM and industry players in Indonesia, "Nangoi said.
According to him, through GIICOMVEC the target of commercial vehicle industry targeted by GAIKINDO to reach more than 20% of the national sales record in 2018. A total of 32 brands of commercial vehicle companies and supporting industries participating in GIICOMVEC become magnets for industry players in Indonesia.
Fourteen Brand Holder Agents (APM) of commercial vehicles are Daihatsu, Hino, Isuzu, Iveco, MAB (Mobil Anak Bangsa), Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Fuso, Mitsubishi Motors, Suzuki, Sokonindo, UD Trucks, United Tractors, Toyota and Volvo.
Five industries of the homeland of the country; Adiputro, Laksana, Shinmei, Sugity Creatives, Trubo Engineering and other supporting industries such as ADR Group, Alcoa wheel, Astra otoparts, BG Product, Dunlop, Esmak Makine, Evalube, Gajah Tunggal, Goodyear, Himawan Putra, Pro7 Auto Lighting and other products their respective prizes at GIICOMOVEC 2018.
About 3,000 industry players are expected to come from the transportation, logistics, construction and infrastructure industries, oil and gas commodities and non-oil and gas commodities, including coal, oil and gas and livestock, forestry, retail, wholesalers and others.
