INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, electric bus made by General TNI (Ret.) Moeldoko who will be called mass transportation of Indonesia future will be more realized. This followed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between PT Mobil Anak Bangsa (MAB) with a number of parties.

The Memorandum of Understanding includes among others China Trustfull Group Limited, which will work together on electric vehicles including the production of vehicles with renewable energy.

The signing of the cooperation was also conducted between PT MAB and PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero). This cooperation is about the planning of cooperation of trial service of MAB's electric bus operation at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

Not only cooperation for the improvement of prototype electric bus Mobil Anak Bangsa and trials, in the event GIICOMVEC 2018 also signed the MoU with a number of Organda Companies who make reservations unit MAB Electric Bus.

The Organda Company which signed the order of the Electric Bus unit is from PT Steady Safe TBK and PT. Infinity Mitra Utama. Signing made by PT Steady Safe TBK is ordering MAB Electric Bus, while for PT. Infinity Mitra Utama is a MAB dealership sales cooperation.

In addition to Steady Safe, unit ordering is also done by PT. Pahala Kencana who ordered 150 units of Electric Bus MAB and PO. Sabar Subur who ordered 50 units of MAB Electric Bus.

Related to the cooperation agreement and ordering 200 units of Electric Buses from various parties are welcomed by General (Ret.) Moeldoko as Founder PT Mobil Anak Bangsa (MAB). This he says shows evidence that the Indonesian nation can realize a shared dream.

"I think today is a very happy day, a dream we are together to be able to bring the Mobil Anak Bangsa fully 100 percent using electricity, we have mastered the technology because we have transfer of technology and transfer of knowledge done some time ago. our children are able to escort independently to run Mobil Anak Bangsa, "said Moeldoko who also served as Chief of Staff of President (KSP) in Jakarta, last weekend.

He said it is very earnest to bring a car of the nation that can be a joint property. For that he invited various parties, challenging young people of Indonesia to contribute and participate in presenting innovation in the development of Mobil Anak Bangsa.

"I prepare 5 percent share for anyone who participates, join with us, whatever for design, technology development, etc. I am sure you have the same spirit to build for Indonesia," he said.

When compared with conventional buses in general, the Electric Bus has a high efficiency. If the bus that uses fuel oil can reach Rp 2,000 per kilometer, then the electric bus is only Rp 800 per kilometer. The emission effect is also proportional. Even the zero emission electric bus. And third, the electric bus is also zero maintenance.

"Because the electric buses do not use oil, so the efficiency is high.We expect this city will be cleaner, cleaner," he said.

Currently, Moeldoko said, PT MAB will still focus on developing electric buses. But in the future will also bring the car and more. Including cheap electric cars that cater to farmers.

"Later this electric bus we are targeting can be used in IMF World Bank event and also Asian Games partially use electric bus," he said.
