INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- Today, Indonesia celebrates National Music Day. March 9 is known to coincide with the birthday of one of the national heroes, Wage Rudolf Soepratman, who is also the creator of the national anthem.

Similarly, Indonesia is diverse but still always seek harmony and harmony, President Joko Widodo said that the national music is also so: different tastes but still in harmony. For that, in this National Music Day he hopes that national music will be preserved.

"The music we keep in existence, hopefully the existence of national music is more acknowledged its existence globally. Live life without music feels bland," said the President, as informed by the Deputy of Protocol, Press and Media Secretariat President Bey Machmudin Friday (9/3/2018)

Through the video included in his Tweet, the President also hopes that with the holding of the first Indonesian Music Conference held on March 7-9, 2018 in Ambon, Indonesian music people able to formulate and fight for Indonesian music to continue to grow and recognized its existence in the global realm.
