UangTeman Gives Award to UMKM Customer in Six Cities

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta UangTeman, technology-based technology pioneer (financial technology / fintech) in Indonesia continues to strengthen its commitment to support the growth of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Under the auspices of PT Digital Alpha Indonesia, UangTeman rewards to customers whose businesses are consistently growing and able to provide a positive social impact for the community in the surrounding environment with the theme "From Friends to Indonesia".

Aidil Zulkifli, CEO & Founder of UangTeman, said that around 30% of the loan usage is used by more than 7 thousand customers across Indonesia for productive enterprises or UMKM.

This award is a form of appreciation of MoneyFriends to selected customers who have a good track record throughout the lending and are also able to inspire many people to have the hope of becoming a micro entrepreneur.

"UangTeman is spread across 15 cities spread across Indonesia. Data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises estimates that the number of SMEs in Indonesia reached about 57.9 million units over the period 2014 - 2016. In fact, this year, the number of SMEs is expected to continue to rise until it reaches more than 59 million units.

During this time, according to Business Profile of SMEs by LPPI and Bank Indonesia (BI) in 2015, SMEs have contributed to the Gross Domestic Product (PBD) of 57% - 60% and the employment rate of about 97% of the national workforce.

Aidil explained that during the first semester of 2017, UangTeman recorded a loan growth of 80% compared to the same period last year.

The achievement, he said, is underpinned by technological developments in the Money Friends who have been able to disburse loans to customer accounts in just 15 minutes since the submission of applications into the system via Android.

Sixth Customer UangTeman who received an award from UangTeman of six cities are, Farida Frihatini - businessman Unyuunyuolshop from Tangerang, Toni Sulaeman - businessman children's clothing from Bandung, Uswatun Hasanah - businessman electrical stores from Surabaya, Bagoes Shadhewo Satria Herlambang - businessman Chems Batik from Yogyakarta , Rahmattullah - Balinese cake entrepreneur from Bali, and Sitti Chadijah Syukri - a hijab businessman from Makasssar.
