INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The need for automatic transmission cars is getting higher especially in cities like Jakarta and others considering the dense traffic everyday. The effect of reducing stress is one reason why this type of transmission becomes an option.

It also captured PT Shell Indonesia in targeting the lubricant market for automatic vehicles in Indonesia by launching a special transmission lubricant for automatic cars, the Shell Spirax S5 ATF X.

Mario Viarengo, VP Marketing Lubricants of PT Shell Indonesia said the launch of this new lubricant is a form of Shell Lubricants commitment to deliver quality and innovative products to its customers. "Shell Spirax S5 ATF X lubricant meets the requirements of Asian, European and American vehicle manufacturers and is the recommended lubricant for Sedan, Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) and Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV)," he said at the launch.

Shell Spirax S5 ATF X transmission lubricant has been using Synthetic base oil technology which has the advantage in providing the transmission gears of corrosion and wear so that component life can be longer. This technology can also keep the transmission performance more stable even in hot conditions though so the benefits of lubricants can be felt longer.

Shell Spirax S5 ATF X transmission lubricant also provides other benefits that can reduce friction that increases fuel efficiency. "With a variety of advantages and benefits, automatic transmission engine oil Shell Spirax S5 ATF X can address the needs of Indonesian consumers to be able to take care of his car components more easily," said Mutiarini, Senior Marketing Manager of PT Shell Indonesia.

It is mentioned that Shell Spirax S5 ATF X formulated and developed by Shell Technology Center has fulfilled the approval of Aisin JWS 3309 (all applications), Allison C-4, Ford MERCON® LV and Mercon V, General Motors Dexron III-H, JASO 1- A and 2A-02 1A for Japanese and Asian vehicles, as well as Toyota T-III and T-IV.

Shell Spirax S5 ATF X transmission lubricant starting this March can be obtained at Shell's Shell, Shell Station and Shop & Drive outlets spread across major cities across Indonesia. Currently, Shell has 80 gas stations in Jabodetabek, Bandung and North Sumatra. for lubricants, Shell has Penzzoil, Quaker State, Shell Helix, Shell Rotera, Shell Tullus, and Shell Rimula.
