Saw Jokowis Chopper Motor, Minister of Industry Interested to Encourage National Custom Motorcycle Industry

INDUSTRY.co.id - Bogor, Minister of Industry (Menperin) Airlangga Hartarto intends to encourage the domestic custom motor industry.

This is stated Airlangga after seeing the motorcycle Royal Enfield Bullet 350cc chopper-style President of Joko Widodo in Bogor Palace, West Java, Saturday (24/3/2018).

"The government will encourage custom motor industry, including small and medium industries," said Minister of Industry.

Because, said Airlangga, Harley Davidson motorcycle company in America was custom. "So if they can have protection and medium facilities we also push," he said.

According to Airlangga, one of the issues of custom motorcycle industry is not all parts are modified according to safety standards and safety of motorists.

On the occasion, Airlangga admitted glad to see the color of the motor. Therefore, the golden yellow color on the bike matches the color of the Golkar Party which is chaired by Airlangga.

"The color is gold, gold is a bit yellow, if the sport is the highest award, it's a gold medal," Airlangga said.
