The weakening of Rupiah has not Significant Impact for Piaggio Business in Indonesia

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Rupiah rate back recorded weakened throughout the week yesterday. But, it has not significantly affected PT Piaggio Indonesia.
"In recent times, the rupiah exchange rate against foreign currencies has weakened, but until now it has not shown any significant effect," said Edo Januarko Chandra as Sales & Dealer Development Director of PT Piaggio Indonesia in Bekasi, Monday (26/3/2018 ).
He added, indeed the weakening of the rupiah a bit much will bring effect to our company's business.
"Because after all our products are brought in CBU (Complited Build Up) from Vietnam and Italy, but the condition is still under control," he explained.
According to him, until now there is still no plan to raise the price of all Piaggio products. "We also have not planned to raise prices because all are still in controlled condition," said Edo.
Edo optimistic rupiah weakening against foreign currency will not be protracted. "We are optimistic that the rupiah will be stable again and will not bring significant effect to our business," he said.
