Taiwan-Indonesia Explores Cooperation of Cancer Treatment Technology

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Taiwan and several associations of Indonesian hospitals and health institutions are exploring cooperation in technological development as an effort to treat cancer.
President and CEO of Taiwan Trade Relations Walter Yeh in Jakarta, in the opening of the Taiwan Exhibition Fair, Thursday (29/3/2018) said the current life pattern of many people who are busy and ignorant of health care.
According to him, it can be risky to cause a mild to severe disease such as cancer, therefore, cooperation in the field of health is also needed to minimize the decline in public health.
To overcome this problem, a group of healthcare services from Taiwan, held an exhibition in Jakarta, to introduce health technology as well as potential partnerships in health with Indonesia.
Diagnosis of cancer is the first step after cancer prevention efforts, but better early cancer detection technology is also done, before it becomes more severe.
Technology offered includes health examination, hair treatment, rehabilitation, aesthetic treatment, and cancer diagnosis to treatment in Taiwan.
In this conference, visitors are also welcome to conduct free medical consultations, with the services of Taiwanese health experts. Conferences and exhibitions are held at JCC Senayan, Jakarta, beginning March 29, 2018.
Responding to this from the Association of Indonesian Hospitals to appreciate the form of partnership offered by Taiwan.
Head of International Relations of Indonesian Hospital Association Widyastuti Wibisana said this is a good step in improving public health.
At least it will lead to initiatives in health cooperation that can be developed to find health improvement solutions.
He considered, Taiwan as one of the references in terms of health, such as treatment or treatment of certain diseases, so it can be collaborated with experts who already exist in Indonesia.
The healthcare industry will be the continued focus of medical industry-based trade development efforts. (Ant)
