INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta-The National Energy Council (DEN) said that DEN guards and encourages achievement of 23% EBT achievement by 2025.

It takes extra effort to achieve it because the achievement of 2016 only reached 7.7%. "Until the end of 2016 we just reached 7.7% so that to reach 23% in 2025 there must be acceleration so that this graph becomes exponential. No possible with the usual things done," said Abadi in Jakarta, Friday (4 / 8/2017).

Efforts can be made to make this happen " said Abadi, one of them by accelerating the use of biodiesel (B20) and utilization of solar panels installed but still experiencing operational constraints. Another effort that can be done is the acceleration of the use of solar panels in all sectors for private as well as government and private buildings.

"In this case Prof. Rinaldi gave inputs, among others, that this could be encouraged if we put this into the Regional General Energy Plan (RUED) for a certain period of time, accelerating the use of solar panels in all sectors," Abadi explained.

Questioning RUED-P (RUED-Provinsi), Abadi revealed that DEN has special programs such as socialization through national workshops, education and training and supervision programs. "We have a program for a national workshop and then education and training, then a three-region workshop until the end of the year we will have a supervision program," added Abadi.

Abadi said the progress of RUED-P preparation until 2017 is 7 Provinces have budgeted RUED activities namely Banten, West Java, DKI Jakarta, Central Java, Bengkulu, Central Kalimantan and Nusa Tenggara Barat. 15 provinces that have undertaken the drafting of RUED though not yet budget namely the province of Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau, Kep. Riau, Jambi, Bangka Belitung, Lampung, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Bali, South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and West Kalimantan.

Then, 12 provinces need special attention because they have not actively carried out the drafting of RUED, including South Sumatera, East Java, North Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Gorontalo, East Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, North Maluku, Papua, And West Papua.

The preparation of RUED is mandated by Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 22 Year 2017 on National General Energy Plan. In Article 4, it is stipulated that the National Energy Council together with the Ministry (ESDM) undertakes
