Minister Jonan Urges Capable People to Not Use LPG 3 Kg

INDUSTRY.co.id - Semarang - Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Ignatius Jonan appealed to the public to be able not to use the government-subsidized 3 kg Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) tube and switch to LPG tubes of 5.5 kg and 12 kg.
"I urge that the 3 kg LPG is to be trusted by our less fortunate brothers, if that is possible, there will be a photo of Pajero people buying 3 kg of LPG," said Minister Jonan when reviewing PLN Java Load Control Area Central and Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, in Ungaran, Semarang regency, Central Java (18/4/2018).
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources said, ahead of Ramadhan and Idul Fitri this year, the Government also asked Pertamina to curb the misuse of 3 kg LPG. "Pertamina already told me I want to curb the oplosan.Purchase 3 kg of LPG dioplos to 12 kg.Not be it," said Jonan.
Meanwhile, related to the distribution plan covered 3 kg LPG, Jonan said the plan is still being reviewed. "I think that the preparation is long, every area that is 3 kg of LPG supply is very wide, with different geographical area condition, the culture of the society is different, if it is to be implemented it may take 1-2 years to prepare," Jonan concluded.
