INDUSTRY.co.id - Banjarmasin - Chairman of the National Oil and Gas Entrepreneurs Association (Hiswana Migas) South Kalimantan Syaibani expects Pertamina to be more professional in the management of fuel oil (BBM) so that there is no longer scarcity as it happened so far.
According to Syaibani in Banjarmasin Monday, as an entrepreneur engaged in the oil and gas sector, the fulfillment of fuel for the public has a considerable influence on the economy.
Thus, the availability of stocks both at gas stations and others is very important to get the attention of all parties concerned. "During this time, South Kalimantan often lack of stock, so there is a long queue at the pump, please it does not happen again," he said.
In response to the change of President Director of PT Pertamina Elia Massa Manik, by the Ministry of SOEs, according to him, it is the full authority of the government.
However, he added, it is expected that in the future Pertamina management can be implemented more independently and focused, to improve the service to the community.
"I am confident that if Pertamina is managed in a focused and independent manner, it will be much better, and the company will become bigger and stronger," he said.
According to him, Pertamina must get the freedom to manage its business better and professional without any interference from anyone.
Likewise with the government, should improve its supervisory function, so that the stability of fuel can be maintained better.
Pertamina, he added, should also be managed by someone who is truly professional in his field, without any political intervention and intervention from any party.
"My hope, through the new management, South Kalimantan will get more attention, so that various problems of fuel and gas including distribution control efforts, also performed well and wisely," he said.
Currently, he added the fuel distribution and running well enough, although previously there was scarcity, because Pertamian must control the distribution.
"According to Pertamina, the scarcity that occurs so far is not a reduction in stocks, but controlling distribution for subsidized fuel," he said. (ant)
