Facebook Confirms Follow Up on Terrorism Related Content

INDUSTRY.co.id -Jakarta- Facebook Indonesia confirms the follow-up of content complaints related to terrorism and negative comments from the public as well as reports from the Ministry of Communications and Informatics (Kominfo).
"Facebook platforms that have no room for violence, if we find content that violates we will follow up, we ask the public to diligently report the content (negative)," said Head of Public Policy Facebook Indonesia Ruben Hattari at Kominfo Building, Jakarta, Tuesday (15 / 5/2018)
Ruben said it is working with the government to remove content that leads to terrorism, violence and hate speech.
Any content that rises to Facebook can be reported, either in the form of images, videos or comments can be directly reported facebook users through the report feature on the platform.
In addition to complaints on the platform, the public can also use content compliance services provided by Kominfo via email, Twitter and Whatsapp.
"Perhaps the two content complaints, the portal is provided by Kominfo which every day has access to us where they are reporting the content, then we take actions based on it." There are two paths to it, "Ruben said.
For the closing period of content or account, he can not be sure because there are so many daily complaints.
There is also Minister of Communications and Informatics Rudiantara said the platform has a quick response in handling the content of terrorism because it is a common enemy.

As for videos on Youtube, users who want to report can go through the flagging feature.
