Extend Access to Non-Cash Transactions Purchase of BBM, Pertamina Cooperates with Mastercard

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Pertamina (Persero) is cooperating with Mastercard to support electronic payment system for transactions at all Pertamina Gas Filling Station (SPBU) in Indonesia.
This cooperation is part of the efforts of both parties in encouraging cashless transactions in gas stations, as well as broadening consumer access in transactions using cards issued from various issuers, especially those with Mastercard logo.
"The establishment of this cooperation with Mastercard is one of our commitment in providing convenience and comfort for motorists in Indonesia in transactions at gas stations," said Jumali, Vice President of Retail Fuel Marketing of PT Pertamina (Persero).
By holding Mastercard, a technology company in the global financial industry, expressed its pride to be back working with Pertamina.
"This cooperation is a continuation of the collaboration between Mastercard and Pertamina, which began five years ago. We believe this cooperation can encourage the use of non-cash transactions in every payment activity, including when buying fuel vehicles, "said Tommy Singgih, Director Mastercard Indonesia.
Previously, this Mastercard commitment in support of the National Non-Cash Movement (GNNT). This government-initiated movement is in line with Mastercard's mission to raise public awareness that non-cash payments are more practical, safe and comfortable.
