President Jokowi Invites Umat Keep Harmony to Welcome Ramadan

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - President Joko Widodo invites all Muslims to maintain tolerance and harmony to welcome the holy month of Ramadhan 1439 Hijri.

President Joko Widodo at the Presidential Palace of Bogor, West Java, on Thursday (5/17/2018) emphasized the need for Muslims to worship in the holy month of Ramadan 1439 Hijriah with a peaceful heart and promote mutual respect.

"Let us run this fast with a peaceful heart, a clean heart, and mutual respect between us so that the meaning of fasting is taught by the Messenger of Allah can we sikapi and we run with full sincerity," he said as conveyed Deputy Protocol, Press, and Media Secretariat of President Bey Machmudin.

In addition, the Head of State also called on all parties to maintain tolerance and the spirit of brotherhood in the life of nation and state.

"I invite all of us to maintain tolerance, to promote harmony, to maintain brotherhood, to keep our ukhuwah islamiah, and to keep our ukhuwah wathaniyah," he said.
