INDUSTRY.co.id- Jakarta -GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), will be back on 2 - 12 August 2018, at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang and this year GIIAS will explore the issue of the latest automotive industry that is the application of Euro fuel standards 4.
"Euro4 fuel standard is very important to encourage the growth of the Indonesian automotive industry towards the global industry, to Beyond Mobility," GAIKINDO Chairman Yohanes Nangoi told a press conference at the Atlet Hotel Century Park in Jakarta on Tuesday (5/22/2018).
The government through the Ministry of Environment and Forestry has already set the use of Euro4 fuel standards in Indonesia from March 2019.
Indonesia, according to Nangoi, is one of the few countries in Asia that still use the Euro2 standard.
He added that Indonesia's automotive industry should continue to be a source of change agents in the field of land transportation and prepare the public for the rapid development of the global automotive industry and Indonesia certainly needs to look at these developments.
