Hutama Karya to work on Lombok International Airport Project

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) will complete the design and build work, the development of several infrastructure facilities at Lombok International Airport.
Infrastructure facilities include apron two parking booths, exit way, refinement of related airside facilities along with supporting facilities. The contract value of this project amounted to Ro238 billion.
"Our target, this project can be completed next year. The development of Lombok International Airport facilities is done in line with the increasing number of flights to and from Lombok from year to year. The expansion and improvement of the supporting facilities will have an impact on the smooth flow of aircraft at the airport, thereby reducing the potential for delays and aircraft accidents at airports.
Meanwhile, Head of Region IV Hutama Karya, Andung Damar Sasongko added that the project will be carried out simultaneously starting from land improvement, taxiway development, increasing alpha taxiway, runway expansion area 13 and 31, service road extension to mechanical and electrical work others.
"For mechanical and electrical work, the scope of work is apron and taxiway edge light, apron flood light, sign parking stand taxiway guiding sign, alpha taxiway height elevators and runway turning light," said Andung.
In addition, Hutama Karya will work on the strengthening and elevation project of Tanjung Emas Ocean Port Dock owned by PT Pelindo III (Persero) located in Semarang. The project with a total contract value of approximately Rp297 billion will be completed by early 2019.
