House of Representatives Special Committee to Visit KPK Safe House Location

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Special Committee on the Rights of the House of Representatives regarding the Duties and Powers of the KPK will visit two locations that are suspected to be holding KPK witnesses this week, said the head of the committee of Aet Gunman Sudars Gunawan Sudarsa.

"The visit is likely to be tomorrow or Friday, the location is two or three because it is adjusted with a short time that is Friday," said Chairman of the committee Agun Gunandjar Questionnaires on the sidelines of a meeting with Prodem at Building Nusantara III, Wednesday (08/09/2017)

The location of the captivity was as expressed by the witness of the bribery case Akil Mochtar, Niko Panji Tirtayasa at the Public Hearing Meeting of the Special Committee of the Special Committee some time ago.

Golkar Party politician explained the Pansus get a lot of information from various parties related to the suspect's place but the Pansus cannot conclude.

According to him, the Pansus wanted to deepen the information obtained by the Pansus so it is necessary to look to the location directly.

"For example, many things that Niko told the Special Committee in Public Hearings some time ago so we need to see the location," he said.

Earlier, Vice Chairman of KPK's Commission for Corruption Rights Committee Masinton Pasaribu said his party got some information about the action is not appropriate procedures conducted KPK.

One of them, according to him, the Pansus got information that KPK investigators have two houses that are used to condition false witnesses for a case, in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta and Depok, West Java.

Meanwhile, KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah responded to the statement of Vice Chairman of the Commission for Investigation Commission KPK Masinton Pasaribu who said KPK has a home to fix the false witnesses.

"It is a pity that there is someone who can not distinguish between safe house for witness protection needs, with house of invigilant," Febri said.
