Gedung Antam - Jakarta - Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed down 0.31% or 20 points to position 6,069 in trading Wednesday (06/06/2018) compared to the previous day's trading position at 6,088 levels.

The weakening of the Composite Index at the close of trading today was caused by the decline in prices of 179 shares, mainly agricultural stocks and basic industry sectors. In addition, there were 203 stocks that experienced price increases, 136 shares stagnated and 115 shares were not transacted at all.

The total value of trading across all BEI market segments reached Rp11.44 trillion. The value of trading in the Regular Market amounted to Rp6, 74 trillion, in Negotiated Market worth Rp4, 69 trillion and in the Cash Market of Rp37, 94 million.

Total volume of transactions recorded as many as 160.58 million lots of shares, the result of 507,117 times the transaction. Foreign investors booked net sales of Rp502.37 billion, but their net purchase volume was recorded at 13.20 million lots of shares.

Seven of the nine sectoral indices of BEI weakened. The agricultural sector index was down 1.67% or 25.91 points to 1,528. Then followed by index of basic industry sector and consumer index which each eroded 1,41% and 1,16%.

LQ45 stocks that decline in price and become top losers is the BMTR whose price decreased 4.39% or Rp25 to Rp545 per unit, INDF whose price shrank 3.13% or Rp225 to Rp6.975 per unit and INTP whose price was eroded 3 , 12% or Rp550 to Rp17,100 per unit.

LQ45 stocks that became top gainers today are ANTM whose price is up 12.43% or Rp110 to Rp995 per unit, MNCN whose price is lifted 6.64% or Rp75 to Rp1, 205 per unit and INCO whose price increase 5, 46% or Rp220 to Rp4,250 per unit. (Abraham Sihombing)
