INDUSTRY.co.id - Bekasi - Officer of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk stated that vehicle density occurs at some point of Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road on H-2 or Wednesday (13/6/2018) around 04.40 WIB.

"Traffic density is still happening at some point with the average speed of the vehicle reaches 20 km per hour up to 30 km per hour," said PT Jasa Marga traffic light center officer Hary Nugroho in Bekasi, West Java, Wednesday (13/6/2018).

He mentioned the traffic density occurred in Jatibening-Cikunir-Bekasi West and East Bekasi-Place Rest of Km 39 Cikampek direction.

Then, Cibitung segment to Toll Gate (GT) Cikarang Utama and Cibatu at Km 35 to Place Rest KM 39.

The density of the vehicle continues in West Karawang Km 47 until after Karawang Timur or KM 57 Resting Place.

Hary has not been able to ensure the peak flow of Lebaran 2018 on H-3 or H-2 because it has not been evaluated Jasa Marga.

"Vehicle volume has increased since (Tuesday, 12/6) morning until Wednesday morning," he told reporters.

Hary said police and Jasa Marga officers engineered traffic flows to break down congestion by diverting vehicles through GT West Cikarang and applying "contra flow" at Km 35 to Km 47.

Despite the density, however, Hary revealed that there is no total congestion on the homecoming flow in Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.

Previously, Jasa Marga predicted H-3 or Tuesday (12/6) to be the peak of homecoming flow in Jakarta-Cikampek toll with vehicle volume reaching 92,200 units.

Jasa Marga urges all road users to always be careful in driving, obey the signs and follow the direction of officers in the field.
