INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Jakarta Composite Stock Price Index (IDX) last week during June 20-22, 2018 was cut 2.87% to position 5,821.81 compared to the position on the weekend before Lebaran holiday at 5,993.62.
The decline in the JCI led to a shrinking market capitalization of 2.7% to Rp6,535.21 trillion last week compared to Rp6,716.99 trillion in the weekend before Lebaran holiday.
Oskar Herliansyah, Head of Corporate Communications Division of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), said in Jakarta, the average daily transaction value last week slashed 7.61% to Rp9.76 trillion compared to the weekend before Lebaran holiday of Rp10.57 trillion.
"The average daily stock transaction volume this week also fell 32.74% to 7.81 billion units of shares from 11.61 billion units on the weekend before Lebaran holiday," Oskar said on Saturday (23/06/2018).
Meanwhile, the average daily transaction frequency fell 0.33% to 452,950 times last week compared to 454,450 transactions before the Lebaran holiday.
Foreign investors booked net sales of Rp3.84 trillion. Since early 2018 until the end of last week, foreign investors recorded net sales of Rp47.28 trillion. (Abraham Sihombing)
