JAPFA Helps Victim Search KM Sinar Bangun

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JAPFA) optimizes the search for victims of the KM Sinar Bangun disaster in Danau Toba considering the operational units located in the area.
Since the first day of the search, the company has allocated one tugboat belonging to the Tilapia unit "operation" to be installed sonar and around Lake Toba in search of KM Sinar Bangun corpse, a diving team and welding team.
"We also bring in a helicopter unit belonging to the company which is scheduled to arrive on Monday (25/6) at the scene, to assist Basarnas in conducting sweeping Lake Toba in search of victims," said Corporate Affairs Director of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk Rachmat Indrajaya in press release in Jakarta, Monday (6/25/2018)
The company also participated in serving tilapia dishes for lunch at the TNI General Kitchen in Tigaras on Sunday (24/6).
A few days earlier, logistics assistance in the form of processed meat ready to eat, milk, chicken eggs and processed chickens have been given to the team Basarnas in charge of looking for victims. The aid was given to the public kitchen set up by the TNI in Tigaras, as well as the family kitchen of the victims of the sinking ship of KM Sinar Bangun at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Tuan Rondahaim in Pematang Raya.
According to Rachmat, the company is committed to assist the search process of KM Sinar Bangun passengers since Tuesday, May 19, 2018. It was done as a form of social concern of the company.
"The steps taken are a manifestation of the company's social awareness, one of its business units located in the Lake Toba region, hoping that the aid can benefit and speed up the search process of the victims," said Rachmat.
