MNC Sky Vision Spends Capital Expenditure Rp400 Billion for 2018

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Manajemen PT MNC Sky Vision Tbk (MSKY) allocates capital expenditure (capital expenditure / capex) amounting to Rp400 billion for 2018. All capex funds are derived from internal cash of the company.
"Most of the capex funds will be used to finance the replacement of the decoders and various databases equipment to support the development of company's informatics technology," said Hari Susanto, President Director of MSKY, in the event of public exposure after the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) in Jakarta on Tuesday (26/07/2018) evening.
Hari said that the allocation of capital expenditure is aimed to prepare various production lines of the company to achieve revenue growth target of around 10 percent this year. In 2017, MSKY stood at Rp2.60 trillion. Thus, MSKY revenue this year is estimated to reach Rp2, 86 trillion.
Hari said, to support the achievement of revenue targets, MSKY management should also encourage the increase in the number of pay-TV subscribers of the company that are transmitted through satellite.
In 2017, total subscribers of pay-TV MSKY were 2.48 million people with average Revenue Per User (ARPU) revenue of Rp81,078. The company's ARPU in 2017 was 0.96% higher than in the previous year of Rp80,307.
The MSKY paid television has 130 broadcast channels. A total of 32 channels are exclusive broadcast channels and 23 channels are produced by the company itself.
Starting June 23, 2018, MSKY subscription television received permission from PT Futball Momentum Asia (FMA) to broadcast World Cup football events in Russia until the closing ceremony. (Abraham Sihombing)
