INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Rupiah is expected to move in the range 14,380-14,368. Despite strengthening however, it is not fully supported by the existing sentiment in which the USD movement appreciates by capitalizing on its economic data release sentiment and a weaker JPY.
"Still the vulnerability of the rupiah may hinder the potential for further rise, so we need to pay close attention to various sentiments, especially the movement of global currencies against USD," said Reza Priyambada Capital Market analysts in Jakarta, Friday (13/7/2018) .
He said, despite concerns about the impact of the US-China trade war, however, the rate of USD tends to strengthen as the valuation of the currency benefits from a trade war.
On the other hand, according to him, the decline of the JPY currency gives a chance for USD to get back up. Not only had that, rising US inflation responded positively to the impact on increasing the rate of USD.
"Meanwhile, despite the rate of USD seen strengthened but, the rate of Rupiah able to appreciate as still the impact of approval RAPBN 2019," he said.
