Dukungan HSBC-PSF-SU dalam International Conference di Bali
INDUSTRY.co.id - Bali - Scientific publications, mainly at the international level, are an important indicator of the progress and quality of education in a country. This underlies the focus of PT Bank HSBC Indonesia and Putera Sampoerna Foundation (PSF) through Sampoerna University (SU) in initiatives that support the improvement of research and publication quality in Indonesia, particularly in finance and banking.
This time, HSBC Indonesia and PSF through SU support the implementation of international conference on finance, banking and financial stability involving Journal of Financial Stability and University of Sebelas Maret (UNS), Journal of Financial Stability is one of the leading scientific journals in finance and banking.
The conference was held in Bali on 17-19 July 2018 where Indonesian academics from various regions and international academics from various countries will gather, present and discuss financial and banking research results which will be published internationally.
HSBC Indonesia Head of Corporate Sustainability, Nuni Sutyoko, explains, "Since 2015, we together with PSF and SU have initiated a banking literacy and education program, which we believe is one of the foundations to maintain financial stability in Indonesia by reaching out to the public and the civitas community academics in various regions of Indonesia. "Nuni continued" This year, the program focuses on the facilitation of academic exchange of knowledge across countries and regions on the global financial and banking industry, one of them through support for this international conference. "
Based on data from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenristekdikti), up to July 2017 the number of Indonesian international scientific publications indexed globally rose significantly to 9,349 documents from 4,084 documents in 2016. Through the scientific research, the researchers are expected to be able to provide solutions to the problems and challenges facing today's industries, so that Indonesia can compete in global level. "
