INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Association of National Information and Communication Technology Entrepreneurs (Aptiknas) is committed to bridging the collaboration between Taiwan and Indonesia in enhancing ICT trade and Smart City.

"Surely we at Aptiknas bridge the presence of investment in Indonesia, help Taiwan companies do business here," said the Chairperson of Aptiknas, Soegiharto Santoso in the MoU of the New Taipei City Government through the Taiwan External Trade and Development Council and Indonesia Taiwan Business Council (ITBC) at the Hotel Mandarin Oriental, Monday (08/13/2018).

He said, Taiwan had been known as one of the countries supplying information and communication technology (ICT) products in the world. Not except in Indonesia, where many technology products produced by a number of large companies in Taiwan, have long entered the Indonesian market and attracted many people.

And now, with the latest technological innovation products, Taiwan intends to support and assist Indonesia in developing the digital economy industry. Especially at this time Indonesia entered the industrial revolution era 4.0, where all sectors were digitized.

"We hope Taiwan brings ICT development trends to Indonesia. The Indonesian government should be able to raise the standard for the use of technology in Indonesia. Moreover, at this time Indonesia is intensifying development in all fields, "he said.

For information, as a large ICT producer, in 2017 in the first period Taiwan's ICT product exports reached a value of 690 million US dollars, ranked fourth in the world. Taiwan in recent years has made integrated system solutions, such as Acer Being Signage (abSignage) and Acer BeingLab, which provide one-stop services to companies.

These products can also integrate software, hardware and service settings. In addition, there is also Edimax AirBox PM2.5 as an air quality monitoring solution, through the cloud platform, flowing air quality information appropriately, and also recognizing air quality in all places in the world.
