INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) booked a total of 4,509 vehicle booking letters (SPK) in the 2018 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) event.

This achievement exceeded the company's sales target at the beginning of the exhibition of 3,500 units.

In detail, orders for Mitsubishi vehicles in GIIAS 2018 are still dominated by Xpander 2,689 units (60 percent), Pajero Sport 1,584 units (35 percent). The remaining 5 percent are orders from Outlander Sport, Mirage and Triton.

"We have achieved very good achievements in GIIAS, especially for our flagship Xpander and Pajero Sport models," said PT MMKSI President Director Kyoya Kondo in a press release in Jakarta on Monday (08/13/2018).

Kondo added, after one year of being introduced in Indonesia, Xpander proved to have a special place in the hearts of consumers.

"Proven Xpander's sales exceeded the target given by GIIAS," he explained

In addition, Kondo added, the Pajero Sport SUV model also received an extraordinary response with twice the target.

"In addition, the awards we received at GIIAS motivated us to improve services from various aspects," he said.

Xpander sales in GIIAS 2018 are dominated by the Ultimate A / T variant of 46 percent, while the Pajero Sport model is dominated by the Dakar 4x2 variant (60 percent).

During GIIAS 2018, MMKSI provided three units of test drive vehicles, namely the Pajero Sport Dakar 4x2, Xpander Ultimate A / T and Sport A / T. In 11 days we got 827 test drive participants, with the dominance of the models in demand, namely Xpander Ultimate A / T and Pajero Sport Dakar 4x2 A / T.
