Castrol Asia's Best Car Mechanic Nets Through Castrol Asia Pacific Cars Super Mechanic Contest 2018

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Castrol organizes the best car mechanic search in Asia Pacific through Castrol Asia Pacific Cars 2018 Super Mechanic Contest which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 9 September 2018.

In order to face this event, each participating country will prepare its best mechanic in the national mechanical competition to compete for the title "Castrol Cars Super Mechanic of the Year".

Country Marketing Manager Castrol Indonesia Deananda Sudijono explained that, Castrol Asia Pacific Cars Super Mechanic Contest aims to find the best mechanics in their fields. The opportunity to become the best in Asia Pacific is very open to mechanics throughout Indonesia.

"This contest will test the mechanical ability in theory and practice through various challenges that have been specifically designed," Deananda said in Jakarta, Monday (08/13/2018).

In addition to competing, he continued, the Castrol Super Mechanic event also aims to educate and improve the mechanics' capability in the latest engine technology and vehicle lubricating oil. In Indonesia, Castrol works with automotive trainers to provide mechanics with the latest knowledge about vehicle maintenance technology.

National winners will be entitled to the title "Castrol Cars Super Mechanic of the Year" and represent their country in the Castrol Asia Pacific Cars Super Mechanic Grand Finals event which will be held in Kuala Lumpur this year.

The winners will join into a team to compete against mechanical competition winners in other Asian countries, such as India, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand to fight for the title "Castrol Asia Pacific Cars Super Mechanic". In addition, the opportunity to join the Renault Sport Formula One pit crew at the Grand Prix in Singapore later this year has also been prepared for winners at the Asia Pacific level.
