Government Donates Some Sacrificial Animals for NTB Earthquake Victims

INDUSTRY.co.id - Lombok- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) donated one cow to the earthquake victims who were displaced in the main post of the earthquake disaster in Tanjung Field, North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara.
President Jokowi's sacrificial cows were handed over by the Minister of Social Affairs (Social Minister) Idrus Marham, to the Regional Secretary of North Lombok H. Suardi, after the Eid al-Adha prayer 1439 Hijri in the Tioq Tata Tunaq field, Tanjung District, North Lombok, Wednesday (08/22/2018)
The handover of sacrificial cows from the head of state coincided with the handover of sacrificial cattle from the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Puan Maharani, Industry Minister Airlangga Hartarto, and Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Syafrudin, as well as sacrificial cows and Agriculture Minister Amran Sulaiman.
In addition, sacrificial cattle and State Intelligence Agency Chief Budi Gunawan, Deputy Head of the National Criminal Investigation Agency, Brigadier General Antam Novambar, and Director General of Social Protection and Security, Ministry of Social Affairs Harry Hikmat, as well as dozens of sacrificial animals from the Army Chief of Staff.
Social Minister Idrus Marham also handed over a cow to the Secretary of North Lombok H. Suardi, witnessed by the Task Force Commander (Dansatgas) of the Lombok Earthquake Disaster Emergency (GDP), Colonel (Czi) Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani.
"The number of sacrificial cows from those submitted to the sacrificial committee at the Tanjung Field Command Post is quite a lot, including from President Joko Widodo," Marham told the media crew.
The Lombok Earthquake GDP Discussion, Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani said the meat of sacrificial animals slaughtered at the North Lombok Earthquake Disaster Management Main Post, Kecamatan Tanjung, would be distributed to evacuation points.
"We will mobilize TNI members and other potential to distribute sacrificial animal meat to the target point," he said.
In addition to the Tioq Tata Tunak Field in Tanjung Subdistrict, slaughter of sacrificial animals was also carried out in a number of locations for the implementation of Eid al-Adha prayers, such as the Pemenang Subdistrict field.
In the field, North Lombok Regent H. Najmul Ahyar, performed Eid prayers along with hundreds of citizens who were victims of the earthquake.
NTB Governor Muhammad Zainul Majdi, together with the NTB provincial government agency heads, also held Eid al-Adha prayer with refugees in the Santong Village field, Kayangan District, North Lombok.
The number one person in NTB also handed over one cow and 20 sacrificial goats along with handing over one sacrificial cow from President Jokowi.
