Penanganan Pasca Gempa, BUMN Kirimkan 33 Ton Material Bangunan
INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) synergize to rebuild Lombok after the earthquake disaster. In the initial phase, BUMN sent more than 30 tons of zinc coated steel for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of buildings affected by the earthquake.
Deputy of Mining Business, Strategic Industry and Media of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises Fajar Harry Sampurno said that the shipment of zinc-coated steel material was using an aid plane from France, namely the Airbus A400 which departed from Halim Perdana Kusuma airfield.
"The delivery of this material is also intended to reduce the surge in prices and the scarcity of building materials in the disaster area of Lombok," said Fajar Harry Sampurno in Jakarta, Friday (08/24/2018).
Harry added, the assistance of this building material material was given by PT Krakatau Steel Tbk as many as 20 tons and PT Indonesian Trading Company (PPI) as much as 13 tons. Material delivery from the PPI itself will be carried out in collaboration with the Indonesian Air Force.
Technically, the aid specifications for the material shipped are the type of CRC with BjDC 1R specification with a thickness of 0.2 mm and 0.25 mm and a width of 914 mm.
The steel is then coated with galvalum (aluminum, zinc) and galvanized (zinc) with a final length of 1829 mm and 3000 mm, respectively. As a basic reference, if the steel sheet with a length of 3 meters is 7500 sheets, it can be used to cover around 450 type 45 houses or 700 type 21 houses.
The BUMN Disaster Response Coordinator, Rohan Hafas, said his office is currently continuing to record the need for rehabilitation and reconstruction processes.
"To rebuild Lombok in the aftermath of the Earthquake, a synergy of all parties, including state-owned enterprises is needed. Therefore, we continue to coordinate and record areas affected by the earthquake," said Rohan.
