Understanding the Eid Al-Adha Mandiri Sharia Distributes 750 Sacrificial Animals to the Country

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta -PT Bank Syariah Mandiri (Mandiri Sharia) and BSM Umat Amil Zakat Institution welcome Eid al-Adha 1439 H by distributing 750 sacrificial animals to all corners of the country.

The 750 sacrificial animals consisted of 350 head of cattle and 400 goats and will be distributed through the Head Office and seven regional offices (RO) of Mandiri Syariah. Then the sacrificial animals were distributed to communities in remote areas including disaster areas in Indonesia.

Sharia Mandiri Risk Management and Compliance Director Putu Rahwidhiyasa said that 750 sacrificial animals were from banks and mudhohis (pekurban) who entrusted their qurban to Laznas BSM Umat. This year, the distribution of sacrificial animals for Mandiri Syariah is focused on remote areas in the country such as villages in NTT, NTB, Maluku, Jayapura etc.

We want people in remote areas to feel the spirit of Eid al-Adha. Especially those in areas where the economy still needs support and its population density is clear, Putu said in Jakarta, Saturday (08/25/2018).

In addition, vulnerable and post-disaster areas in Indonesia, including Lombok and outside Indonesia, such as Rohingya refugees, also get an allocation of sacrificial animals.
