BNI Syariah Synergizes with Indonesian Waqara Karya

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - BNI Syariah continues to expand its network of cooperation with various customer segments, especially with startup (fintech) technology-based startups. This time, BNI Syariah and PT Waqara Karya Indonesia, one of the technology startup companies that have financial planning solutions and financing services for Umrah travel.

"This year BNI Syariah also focuses on collaboration with technology-based startup companies (startup / fintech), especially those with business focus in the Halal Ecosystem, property, education and ZISWAF sectors," he said in Jakarta yesterday.

This collaboration is motivated by the increasing number of incidents of fraud / fraud committed by travel providers in the past 2 years with a loss of approximately Rp 4.5 trillion.

The field of cooperation carried out is the opening of the Baitullah Hasanah iB account and the Umrah Flexion for Umrah financing for Waqara application users.

With this facility, all Waqara application users can open Baitullah Hasanah iB savings so that the user's savings funds are stored in the Islamic Bank on behalf of their own users, thus minimizing the chances of fraud by Umrah travel providers, later users can choose the Umrah package they want when the funds are their savings are sufficient.

"Alhamdulillah as of August 2018, BNI Syariah has managed to raise funds from the BNI iB Baitullah Hasanah Savings product amounting to Rp 1.5 T with a total account of 563.995," he said.
