INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Ministry of Communication and Informatics blocked the KPKOnline.com site because it was in the name of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and contained information that confined certain parties.
"It's been in the blocking process," said Acting. Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information, Ferdinandus Setu, through a short message in Jakarta, Saturday (8/9/2018)
Ferdinandus said Kominfo received a report about the site on Saturday at 12.00 WIB.
Next Subdit Team Internet Content Control which manages negative content moving crawling machines verifies content on the site.
"The information presented on the website attacks certain individuals or figures and the KPK has clarified that there is no connection whatsoever," said Ferdinandus.
He also said a floral photo from the Ministry of Communication and Information which congratulated the launch of PKTV and the KPKOnline.com site circulating on social media was a hoax.
Kominfo also confirmed that he never submitted any statement regarding the launch of PKTV and the site.
Likewise, the KPK refused to have been interviewed by parties who claimed to be managers of sites that were now inaccessible.
The KPK calls on state officials or organizers to immediately report if there are parties claiming to be from the KPK and deliver promises to take care of the case by asking for a number of rewards or facilities. (Ant)
