INDUSTRY.co.id - Seoul, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said, for a long time companies from South Korea operated in Indonesia.
And at this time, continued the President, investment from South Korean companies was the third largest compared to investments from other countries in Indonesia.
"Number three top international investors in Indonesia," said President Jokowi while giving a speech to the 2018 Indonesia-Korea Business Investment Forum, in Seoul, South Korea, Monday (09/10/2018) morning.
South Korea's investment, said the President, was in various basic industries such as steel and iron, petrochemicals and aluminum.
Previously the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Rosan Roslani said, his party brought a large group of around 104 entrepreneurs to attend the business forum.
"There are still many trade and investment potentials between Indonesia and Korea that have not been explored," said Rosan.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the South Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry Yongman Park said there were still many opportunities to invest in Indonesia. For this reason, cooperation between entrepreneurs from both countries is needed.
