INDUSTRY.co.id - Personnel of Cabinet Secretariat must continue to put the best effort in providing services to the President and the Cabinet amid COVID-19 pandemic, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung has stated.
“As the President’s closest assistant and part of the President’s office that prepares a lot of things for the President and the entire Cabinet, I call on all of you to join hands and do our best amid the pandemic,” Pramono said during Cabinet Secretariat virtual halal bihalal (post Eid al-Fitr gathering), Tuesday (18/05).
Pramono also reminded Cabinet Secretariat personnel to maintain self-discipline in following health protocols in order to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Cabinet Secretary also ordered Vice Cabinet Secretary Fadlansyah Lubis and Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Administrative Affairs Farid Utomo to immediately carry out COVID-19 vaccination for Cabinet Secretariat personnel who have not received their COVID-19 vaccine.
Pramono went on to say that the joint effort made by all stakeholders in Indonesia in controlling the pandemic has made the country fare better compared to several other countries.
“Minister of Health has reported to the President that COVID-19 positive rate among health workers has significantly dropped as most of the health workers have been inoculated,” Pramono said, while underscoring the importance of technology for communication during the pandemic.
“I wish you a happy Eid Al-Fitr, minal aidin wal faizin. I hope the virtual Eid al-Fitr gathering that we are doing will not diminish the solemnity, togetherness, and our good relationships,” he said.
