President Jokowi to Inspect COVID-19 Mass Vaccination for Workers in Riau Islands Province

INDUSTRY.co.id - In a series of his working visit to Riau Islands Province, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, on Wednesday (19/05), is scheduled to inspect COVID-19 mass vaccination for workers and communities and brief the province’s Forkopimda (the Regional Leadership Communication Forum) on the handling of the pandemic.

President Jokowi and his limited entourage departed from the Roesmin Noerjadin Air Force Base, Riau Province and landed on Raja Haji Fisabilillah International Airport, Riau Islands Province.

Upon arrival, the President is slated to visit Bintan Inti Industrial Estate (BIIE), Bintan Regency. In the industrial area, the President will inspect the COVID-19 mass vaccination for workers and communities around the area.

In addition, the President is also scheduled to brief Forkopimda of Riau Islands Province on the handling of the pandemic. The briefing will take place at the Riau Islands Provincial Building, Tanjungpinang City.
