The President to East Kalimantan Attends the Muhammadiyah Youth Conference and Observes the IKN Toll Road Project

INDUSTRY co.id - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) accompanied by Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo arrived at Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan International Airport, Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan Province, on Wednesday (22/02/2023), around 12.48 WITA.
The arrival of the President and Mrs. Iriana were welcomed by, among others, the Commander in Chief of the TNI, Admiral Yudo Margono, the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and the Governor of East Kalimantan, Isran Noor.
The President and his entourage then headed straight to the Balikpapan Sport and Convention Center, to attend the Inauguration of the Opening of the XVIII Muhammadiyah Youth Conference. After that, the President continued his trip to inspect the location of the Nusantara Capital Toll Road Project, Segment 3B, Kariangau - Sp. KKT Section. Tempadung, Balikpapan City.
After the inspection, the President went straight to the Bamboo Forest Tourism area, Balikpapan City. There, the President will hand over the Social Forestry Decree (SK) and the Agrarian Reform Object Land Decree (TORA) to the recipients.
The President and Mrs. Iriana will spend the night in Balikpapan City and then continue their work visit activities the next day.
The President and Mrs. Iriana left for East Kalimantan Province, at around 09.30 WIB, via the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta, using the Indonesian Presidential Aircraft-1.
Accompanying the President and Mrs. Iriana on the flight to East Kalimantan Province were Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir, Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia, and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung.
