President Jokowi Receives PP Pemuda Muhammadiyah Visit

INDUSTRY.co.id - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received a visit from representatives of the Muhammadiyah Youth Central Executive (PP) on Monday (27/03/2023), at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.
During the meeting, PP Pemuda Muhammadiyah expressed his appreciation to President Jokowi who has given great attention to the youth development movement in the country.
"We appreciate Mr. President's attention to the youth development movement nationally, especially for Muhammadiyah Youth. He took the time to attend the opening of our Conference in Balikpapan while at the same time introducing the composition of the composition of the results of the XVIII Conference in Balikpapan," said the General Chairperson of PP Pemuda Muhammadiyah Dzulfikar Ahmad Tawalla in statement after the meeting.
Dzulfikar also said that his party also conveyed to President Jokowi regarding the four main points produced at the XVIII Muktamar Muhammadiyah Youth some time ago. Starting from the confirmation of the Progressive Islamic movement, the entrepreneurial movement (social entrepreneurship), the scientific movement, to the national political movement.
"We underline more or less two big points about the national political movement and the social entrepreneurship movement," said Dzul.
President Jokowi also expressed his support for youth movements, especially in the field of economic movement. According to the President, currently the youth must determine the focus of their movement on economic development, especially those based on the people and small, micro, medium enterprises (MSMEs).
"Muhammadiyah youth today have answered this challenge. We have prepared a series of concepts and ideas and even included in our composition tomorrow besides the economic sector, we already have the development of business entities belonging to Muhammadiyah Youth," said Dzulfikar.
Accompanying the President in the meeting was the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. Meanwhile, those present at the meeting included General Chairperson of PP Pemuda Muhammadiyah Dzulfikar Ahmad Twalla, Secretary General of PP Pemuda Muhammadiyah Najih Prasetyo, General Treasurer of PP Pemuda Muhammadiyah Machendra, and a number of other PP Pemuda Muhammadiyah representatives.
