President Jokowi Applauds Learning Activities at Kupang Vocational High School

INDUSTRY.co.id - President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Wednesday (12/06) visited 5 State Vocational High School in the East Nusa Tenggara provincial capital of Kupang to inspect facilities and learning activities of the students at the school.

On that occasion, President Jokowi also expressed appreciation for the good learning activities at the school.

“I can see that some programs have good practices, but the automotive program still uses an old car so today I will send a new car. I will also send a new machine for the carpentry program,” the President said, adding that the students should keep learning and be careful during practices and take time to pray and do workout.

Upon arriving at the school at 08.10 Central Indonesian Time, President Jokowi was welcomed by the students with the song ‘Sedon Lewa Papa.’

Afterwards, the President also inspected several classrooms used for the automotive program, visual communication design program, and the renewable energy program.

President Jokowi also received a mug with a picture of the President himself and the First Lady Ibu Iriana given by the students of the visual communication design program.

The students said that they were happy to have the President visit the school.
