President Jokowi Helps Animal Sacrifice for Maluku

INDUSTRY.co.id - Ambon - President Joko Widodo helps a cattle sacrificial animal for Muslims in Maluku who celebrate Eid al-Adha 1438 Hijri, September 1, 2017.

"Head of State Assistance Cow has been informed by the State Palace to be handed over by the Governor of Maluku, Said Assagaff representing President Jokowi," said Head of Public Relations of Setda Maluku, Bobby Palapia, in Ambon yesterday.

The sacrificial animal is in talks with the state court for its procurement as the celebration of Eid al-Adha 1437 Hijri.

"Governor Said on behalf of the provincial government and the people of Maluku expressed gratitude for the love 'love' from President Jokowi to Muslims in this area," said Bobby.

The sacrificial animal of the President's aid was handed over by Governor Said to the Grand Mosque of Alfatah, the city of Ambon.

"Mr. President's cow for the celebration of Idul Adha 1437 Hijriah weighing 800 kg which was handed by Governor Said to the Faith of Masjid Raya Alfatah Ambon," said Bobby to media crews in Ambon.

The current president directs the sacrificial animal to be cut first, and then distributed to the Muslims who are entitled to receive it.

Bobby said, Governor Said must surrender animal sacrifice to the mosque manager in Ambon Island.

The Maluku Provincial Government through the local Public Welfare Bureau has prepared 85 goats and 40 head of cattle.

The recipients are directed to those who have been paid to the celebration of Eid al-Adha 1437 Hijriah for Eid al-Adha 1438 Hijriah transferred to other Muslims who are entitled to receive it.

The provincial government of Maluku on Idul Adha 1437 Hijriah gave 41 cows and 85 goats.
