INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - In the event of the largest energy forum in Indonesia, Electric, Power and Renewable Energy Indonesia, which took place from 6-9 September 2017 at the Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, Siemens presents a digital transformation in the energy and manufacturing sectors in Indonesia.
"We are exhibiting solutions to support the digital transformation of the energy and manufacturing sectors in Indonesia," said Josef Winter, President Director and CEO of PT Siemens Indonesia in Jakarta, Wednesday (6/9/2017).
He said Siemens' strategic goal is to help the energy and manufacturing sectors in Indonesia to overcome challenges and excel by using products and solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Digitalization is expected to drive much needed change into the industrial world that is able to generate better value added and reduce costs.
For reliable and efficient power supply assurance, Siemens features turbines
new aero-derivative gas SGT-A45TR 44 MW for mobile power plant. Meanwhile, in the field of power generation services, Siemens will show MyAdvisor applications that can help optimize rotary equipment such as turbines and compressors.
In addition, there is also a SIPROTEC-based Bus for digital power substation technology. Furthermore, there is Siemens Fusesaver - the world's fastest continuous vacuum circuit breaker outlet that can be monitored and controlled from SCADA systems.
"For low voltage electrical products, we showcased 3VA circuit breaker switches for systematic power distribution and a 7KM PAC Measure Device consisting of five gauges for all needs - from measuring simple power consumption to system and network quality," he said.
To strengthen the competitiveness of the manufacturing sector in Indonesia through improvement
productivity, efficiency, flexibility, shorten the time for production up
sales, and cyber security on a continuous basis - Siemens will showcase Industrial Communications (SCALANCE & RUGGEDCOM), Instrumentation
Process (SITRANS), and Automation System (TIA & PCS 7).
With an integrated data platform, COMOS integrated software solutions will help provide continuous data streams that meet the specific needs of design engineers and plant operation personnel, as well as enterprise management across all phases of the project to support the transformation towards factory digitization.
