Pancasila Education Must Be Revitalized

INDUSTRY.co.id - Surabaya - Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Menristekdikti) Mohamad Nasir said Pancasila education should be revitalized and adapted to the times.

"Pancasila education should be revitalized, not only to understand Pancasila as the norm, but must know how its manifestation," said Nasir after opening the Association of Private Higher Education Indonesia (Aptisi) VII East Java in Surabaya, Saturday (16/09/2017)

Nasir said Pancasila education should explain why there should be the principle of the One Godhead, Just and Civilized Humanity, Indonesian Unity, Democracy Led by Wisdom of Wisdom in Representative Deliberation, and Social Justice for All Indonesian People.

"So far, it has never been discussed in detail," he said.

By understanding what has been formulated by the founders of the nation, he added, then the unity and unity of the nation will be realized.

"In the current information technology era, the only thing that has to be done is to strengthen the young generation through Pancasila values," said the former Rector of University of Diponegoro.

Chairman of Regional Aptisi VII Sukowiyono said the campus should re-instill education Pancasila.

"Thus, the young generation is able to observe and appreciate the value of Pancasila," he said.

Sukowiyono explained that Indonesian people are having a hard test with selfish and sectarian attitude. It can be overcome by understanding the values ​​of Pancasila well. On the occasion, a declaration of antiradicalism followed by a number of private universities in the area.
