32 Kulon Progo Tourism Destinations Needs Investor Support

INDUSTRY.co.id - Kulon - Department of Investment and Integrated Services Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, will promote 32 points of attractions that still require investment through geographic information systems.
Head of Supervision and IT of Kulon Progo Herismoyo's Office in Kulon Progo on Thursday said DPMPT is focusing on marketing and promoting tourism investment potential.
"We will map out the points of the existing tourist attraction and those that need investors so that investors who are interested in investing, stay access through the geographic information system (GIS) prepared by DPMPT," said Herismoyo, Thursday (9/21). / 2017) as reported by Antara.
He said based on the study of the Tourism Office (Dispar), there are 32 points of tourism spread over 12 sub-districts, especially in Kokap, Girimulyo, Samigaluh, and Kalibawang developed community in desperate need of investment.
"We will enter the point where, we also include on the map, then a brief explanation of the location and information slightly related to tourism conditions there, as well as opportunities that can be in cooperation with investors," he said.
According to him, the main obstacle of low investment in tourism sector, namely information on investment opportunities in each tourist attraction.
"We imitate what the perpetrators can do with investors, because to open new rides requires a lot of capital," he said.
