Welcome to the 72nd Anniversary of Mines and Energy, the ESDM Ministry Held the Week of Mining and Energy

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has prepared a number of agendas to welcome the 72nd Anniversary of Mining and Energy (PE) Day, which will fall on September 28, 2017. As planned, the event is then referred to as "Pekan Gambambangan and Energy 2017" has started from the second week of September to the end of the month.

"The Mining and Energy Week event to commemorate the 72nd Anniversary of PE, not only involves the big family of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, but also the stakeholders and activists in the ESDM sector, including journalists and students," said Head of Communication, Public Information Service Bureau , and Cooperation (KLIK) Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dadan Kusdiana in Jakarta (21/9/2017)

By cooperating with Indonesian Renewable Energy Society (METI), the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has organized IndoEBTKE Conference and Exhibition and Bali Clean Energy Forum 2017 at Balai Kartini Jakarta, September 13-15.

Subsequently, on September 18, Ms Minister Retnowati Jonan and Vice Minister Paulin Tahar together with the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources planted trees on Field Campus, Human Resources Development Center, New Energy, Renewable Energy and Conservation (PPSDM KEBTKE) Cisarua.

Today, Friday (9/22/2017) ESDM Minister Ignasius Jonan along with the former Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources and officials in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources are scheduled to make a pilgrimage to the tomb of Arie Frederik Lasut, National Hero who is the Indonesian Mining Father, in Yogyakarta.

A day later, the ESDM Ministry held a face-to-face with netizen of the EMR sector in Bandung under the heading "The 7th Netizen Meeting: Mine for Human Life" followed by "Night at Museum" event at Bandung Geological Museum targeting the young generation to contribute to the development of the EMR sector.

On September 26-27, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources held Mining and Energy EXPO 2017 which presented speakers of mining and energy experts in Indonesia, including former ESDM Ministers, with the theme "Justice for Welfare and Sustainable Investment".

The evening of 27 September will be held at the awarding of Subroto Awards, the highest award in the EMR sector for the Occupational Safety and Health Sector and Environmental Protection (K3LL) Geothermal, National Energy Efficiency Award, Energy Journal Award, Oil and Gas Safety Award and Innovation Award Energy.

"The awards ceremony of the Subroto Award is an appreciation of the Government to the community, individuals, groups and institutions, including journalists for their concern in advancing the ESDM sector," said Dadan.

Meanwhile, the peak of the Mining and Energy Anniversary event was marked through the ceremony of the 72nd anniversary of the Mining and Energy Anniversary on Thursday, September 28 at the ESDM Ministry Office which will be followed by blood donation events, distribution of compensation and collectivity activities.

"PE 2017 will be closed with exhibitions and seminars of National Electrical Day 2017 which runs from the 28th and ends on 30 September," concluded Dadan.
