INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT PLN President Director Sofyan Basir fulfilled the summons of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to be examined as a witness in investigating a corruption bribery case for a cooperation agreement for the construction of the Riau-1 Steam Power Plant (PLTU).
Sofyan arrived at the KPK building, Jakarta, Tuesday (07/08/2018) around 10:00 WIB to undergo an examination.
The KPK was supposed to call Sofyan on Tuesday (7/31) as a witness to suspect Johannes Budisutrisno Kotjo who is a shareholder of Blackgold Natural Resources Limited.
However, at that time the person concerned did not fulfill the KPK's call because he was carrying out another task.
In addition to Johannes, the KPK has also named one other suspect in the case, namely the Deputy Chair of the House of Representatives Commission VII of the Golkar Party Faction Eni Maulani Saragih.
Previously, the KPK on Friday (7/20) had examined Sofyan as a witness for the suspect Johannes.
At that time, the KPK explored meetings allegedly carried out by witnesses with suspects.
"In addition, in the capacity of witnesses as Managing Director of PLN, investigators also explore the role and direction of witnesses in terms of the appointment of Blackgold," said KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah to the media crew in Jakarta on Friday (07/20/2018).
