INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Member of the House of Representatives Commission I Supiadin Aries Saputra proposed that the procurement of weapons by an institution should have an approval from the Ministry of Defense and the TNI.
It was according to him to avoid that the weapons in the hands of the people and unknown to the state, suddenly used for other purposes even to fight the state.
"We suggest that in the future all weapons procurement must be approved, in addition to Polri for self defense, also from TNI and Kemhan so that all weapons are well controlled, it is hoped Kemhan, Polri and TNI will have data," he said on Monday (25/9 / 2017)
According to him it was done so that when in the community arms arise without permission, can be known source from where.
Previously, in the recording that circulated, TNI Commander General Gatot Nurmantyo mentioned the existence of certain institutions that will bring 5,000 weapons illegally to profiteer the name of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). This was said by the Commander in the event of the TNI's friendship with retired officers at TNI Headquarters Cilangkap, Jakarta, Friday (22/9).
