INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Vice Chairman of Commission I of TB Hasanuddin assessed the polemics related to the statement of TNI Commander General Gatot Nurmantyo that there are institutions outside the Armed Forces and Police who purchased 5,000 firearms, actually completed after Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Wiranto gave an official statement.

That, according to him, due to the hierarchy in the government, has been taken over by Menkopolhukam and explained that there is no purchase of 5,000 firearms but 500 by BIN.

"State officials should be familiar with rules, procedures and ethics," he said, to the media crew in Jakarta on Monday (25/09/2017), "if there is such information discussed with the relevant agencies but if it is difficult then report to Menkopolhukam. "

He said throwing information considered very sensitive to the community, not the right step so should be avoided so that conditions do not become boisterous.

According to him, 5,000 weapons were equal to the strength of five combat battalions that could raise questions in the community.

"If a problem is solved internally and if necessary bring to a limited meeting in the cabinet," he said.
