INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Management of PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) will establish a special team directly under the President Director to anticipate various things detrimental and involve employees of the company in the future.
It was done by management to fix internal control of the company. The team will oversee the company's continuity to comply with the rules, in accordance with legislation and meet GCG (Good Corporate Governance) principles.
The move was taken after the alleged bribery case occurred in the procurement process of goods and services at Purbaleunyi branch office involving JSMR employees. The case is a development of KPK investigations and BPK audit findings.
"Jasa Marga does not justify actions that violate GCG principles with any motive. Therefore, Jasa Marga is committed to support and cooperate, and is willing to provide the widest possible access to KPK investigation needs, " said Agus Setiawan, Corporate Secretary of JSMR in Jakarta, Thursday (28/9).
Agus said that Jasa Marga has the tools to run the business according to GCG principles, namely Code of Conduct (COC) or Code of Good Corporate Governance (COGCG) or GCG Code of Conduct, integrity pact and whistle blowing system.
The case involving Jasa Marga's employees, Agus added, was used as a momentum to ensure that all the monitoring and prevention measures implemented were effective in all Jasa Marga offices, both at central and branches.
